Our practice hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We understand the need to provide care in urgent situations and due to the needs of our patients we provide Saturday hours for those patients requiring immediate care and treatment.
Your first visit with us will consist of a consultation. If treatment is recommended it may be able to be done that same day. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan may require an intensive evaluation necessitating the need for a second appointment with treatment scheduled for another day.
Before leaving for your consultation we suggest you bring the following:
- Your referral slip from your General Dentist and any X-rays if applicable,
- A list of all your medications you are currently taking;
- If you have dental insurance, please bring all necessary information for ease of claims processing.
Other important information to know:
- A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 years of age at the consultation visit.
- If you have a medical condition that may be of concern (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, heart concerns, etc.) or if you are on medication for such health concerns or may require medication prior to a dental cleaning please call our office prior to your visit to alert us of such significant information.
Payment is due at the time of service unless another arrangement has been made in advance. For billing convenience our practice accepts Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover cards.
If you have dental insurance we will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks after a claim has been submitted. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that timeframe. Any remaining balance after your dental benefit has been paid is considered to be your responsibility.
Our practice also offers convenient monthly payment plans through Care Credit. Please call us at (703) 534-4884 for further information on patient billing and insurance and ask to speak to our Billing Department Specialist.

I was visiting family and I am from out of town, I was so fortunate to find this practice. Dr. Alhassany did a great job. My trip was saved!
Dr. Misra was excellent, she provided me with a pain free procedure and saved my tooth. So happy to have found this practice.
I had to have a root canal, which I dreaded and went to GWE and found the staff to be wonderful. They put me at ease immediately.
Dr. Alhassany was nice and even funny. I would certainly recommend this practice to my family and friends.
I recently was referred by my general dentist for an emergency root canal. Not having one in the past, I asked who she would recommend. She sent me to Greater Washington Endodontics and Periodontics practice in Arlington as that was a convenient location for me. The front desk staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They not only gave me explicit information about parking, but also insurance estimates and what I could expect at my first visit. Dr P couldn’t have been nicer and the whole procedure went smoothly. I will recommend this practice to anyone who needs a root canal. Good Job!
I had a minor panic attack and everyone was in trying to clam me. They rescheduled my appointment to give me more time in case I got upset again. Everyone was great and I have already recommended them once already
